EXPERT IN: O AUDIO CONSULTING O RECORDING O MIXING O EDITING O MASTERING Marc Parizeau is a Canadian producer, audio recording engineer and accomplished musician (drummer) who contributes his well-honed musical/technical skills and advice to countless recordings and live projects. Born and raised in Western Quebec, "PAZ" (as he’s known in inner circles) discovered at an early age that his love of music was matched only by his love of all things 'audio and electronics'. He followed his dream by enrolling in the Recording Engineer & Production Program at Fanshawe College. Then in 1979, Marc launched his career with the CBC/SRC. He has since evolved into one of Canada's most recognized and respected names in the recording industry! Since retiring from CBC/SRC in 2013 after 34 years service, he continues to apply the sum total of all his learned techniques and skills to complete projects under his own company PAZ PRODUCTIONS. 2007 Gemini Award Nominee for BEST SOUND, Marc has recorded soloists, small ensembles, singers, and rock bands... up to and including 60+ piece orchestras. Known for his proficient ProTools® skills, he has worked with the 'best of the best' in all genres of music – from Céline Dion to Simple Plan to Pinchas Zukerman & the NAC Orchestra.
